Continuous slot screens are precision sand control screens formed by resistance welding V-shaped profile wires onto longitudinal support rods. The welding creates continuous and uniform slot openings along the full screen length, which reduces clogging, increases effective open area and strengthens both axial and radial rigidity. This batch is manufactured as small-diameter screens to customer-specific requirements, ideal for slim-hole completions, small-diameter water wells and dewatering systems where space is limited but reliable sand control is essential.
Technology
The V-shaped wedge wire profile produces a self-cleaning slot geometry: fine particles pass through the narrow top opening while larger grains are stopped, minimizing plugging over service life. Slot width is precisely controlled during winding and checked piece by piece to guarantee uniform filtration. The continuous resistance welding between wires and rods forms a one-piece rigid structure that withstands downhole pressure, vibration and rough handling.
